If you are looking for excitement, noise and more enjoyment than you can bear, then craps is the only game to take part in.
Craps is a quick-paced game with whales, budget gamblers, and everyone in between. If you’re a people-watcher this is one casino game that you will like to watch. There’s the whale, playing with a big amount of cash and making boisterous declarations when she bets across the board, "$520 across," you’ll hear him say. She’s the gambler to watch at this table and they know it. They will either win big-time or lose big-time and there’s no in between.
There is the budget gambler, possibly attempting to acquaint himself with the whales. He will let the other bettors of books she’s read up on, on dice throwing and hang around the most accomplished player at the craps table, ready to talk and "pick each others minds".
There’s the student of Frank Scoblete latest craps class. Even though Frank is the best there is, his disciple needs to do his homework. This player will require 5 mins to set his dice, so apply understanding.
My favorite players at the table are the real chaps from the good old days. These elderly gents are generally composed, almost always kind and will very likely always share hints from the "great old days."
When you take the plunge and decide to join the game, be sure you use good etiquette. Locate a place on the rail and lay your money down in front of you in the "come" area. Never do this when the dice are being tossed or you’ll be known as the last character I wanted to mention, the jerk.
